If you can still find a February copy of SFX in the stores, you should definitely check it out and test your knowledge on Blastermind. Amongst the categories that you are tested on are famous final lines of movies; lyrics to theme songs; identifying the openings to TV shows and famous shops in TV shows. It’s a very cool quiz, although I admit, I didn’t do as well as I thought I would! You can find the answers at SFX’s website, which I won’t be linking to today, because I think you should see how you do, first!

Hollywood Reporter reports on some of the series that will be making a come back next year. Among those genre shows, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is likely to make a return, particularly with a new Terminator movie in the works. This series seemed a little uneven to me. I’m hoping that they find their feet in season two. Knight Rider is another series that is in the works to make a come back on NBC after the very successful movie. Jericho’s fate, however, has still been left hanging. Lets hope they make a decision on that one, fast. Not quite a genre show, but definitely a bit of a cult hit, Scrubs is looking for a new home, which I’m thrilled to hear, versus being out and out cancelled. And David Boreanaz fans can rest easy knowing that Bones will be returning.

Scifi.com talks to Ben Browder some more on the new Stargate movie to hit stores, Stargate: The Ark of Truth. Shot in 35mm, Browder explains that the sheer scale and look of the new movie will be a lot bigger than what viewers were used to seeing from the series and ties up a lot of loose ends left from the final season. Even so, for sheer scale, I can’t wait for Continuum to hit stores, which was partially shot in the Antarctic
