Israeli scientists have used a focused ion beam to write the entirety of the old testament on to a silicon chip 1/1000th of an inch in diameter. By firing a stream of Gallium ions on to a gold plated surface using specially designed software researchers at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa were able to print the full text in less than 90 minutes. The stunning detail of the nano-etching shows the possibilities for future data storage advancements.
