Writer/director/actor Justin Theroux is reportedly in final talks to pen the next installment of Marvel Sudios’ summer blockbuster, “Iron Man.” Theroux is a familiar face to fans of “Six Feet Under,” or maybe as Timothy Bryce in “American Psycho,” however he has worked behind the camera as the director of last year’s “Dedication,” and wrote Downey Jr’s other summer release for this year, “Tropic Thunder.”
There you have it folks. If you want to know what to expect from the next “Iron Man” movie, check out “Tropic Thunder” next month. Jon Favreau is also in final talks with the studio, so the direction and acting shouldn’t change. Writing is the only x-factor we have to consider. Personally I think “Tropic Thunder” looks entertaining, though a little corny. What do you think?

I don’t know whether to worry or not about the guy that wrote “Tropic Thunder” writing IM2. I loved the first one and was hoping that the next would delve more into Tony Stark’s darker side….
I hope the Iron Man franchise does not go the way of the original Batman films!
