Watchmen Movie Getting More Real… Geek Disclaimer: I’m hesitant about the classic graphic novel Watchmen being made into a film. Alan Moore’s prose is so dense, lively, and tied into the actual story itself that I’m in a fret about how anyone could translate the comic to film. But, shrug, it is being translated.

Late last night – almost in the wee-ist hours of this morning, Watchmen promotional photos of the cast in costume were loaded onto the Warner Brothers’ blog for the movie. No photo of Billy Crudup as Dr. Manhattan, though. Check them out.

The movie will be released in theaters on March 6th, 2009.
