SFX has an excerpt of an interview with head man Russell T. Davis from an upcoming issue. In it, Davis speculates on the longevity of Dr. Who. Unlike many American franchises (Star Trek excluded), which go on for some 5-7 years before getting cancelled, Davis predicts the series being on the air for probably another 20 years, which isn’t really a hard speculation given how long the series has been on the air already, in all its different incarnations.
