A bit late on this review, but no matter… So here we have the second episode of the second series, and this time, there’s no James Marsters to chew up the scenery with Captain Jack. And it turns out, that’s okay! A decent enough storyline, which seemed to have follow through, unlike much of the first series, I didn’t feel like I’d missed some incredible plot point. And most joyous was the sense of camaraderie. Gwen finally seems like she’s found her place in the team and Ianto has a sense of humour! If they keep this up, this second outing is sure to surpass the first. And with Martha Jones coming on board, and possible appearances of members of UNIT, I’m actually excited for this series.
