The Gaylactic Spectrum Awards always confuse me. They gave out their 2007 award for best novel back in October, but the rest of their 2007 honorees have just been announced. If you’re interested in gay, lesbian and bisexual content in SF/F media (and hey, with Torchwood isn’t that everyone all of a sudden?), it’s a list worth looking at. You can even download a .pdf file that includes ISBN numbers and summaries of everything that was either shortlisted or won. There is, as yet, no schedule for the 2008 awards. Which is probably a good thing, as then I’d have to be even more puzzled by their timetables.
