After swooning about the British Harry Potter convention to be held in an actual castle, I, and many others, sadly no longer have to figure out how to make money appear from no where, as Sectus 2009 has been canceled. The official website blames it on unspecified personal issues in the life of the con-chair, and despite efforts to continue the event with a replacement, that’s apparently not viable. Bummer. Hopefully, everything will work out for the people involved and they might try again in the future, as it sounded like a great plan.
