If it’s February (can you believe it’s already February?) it’s time for Locus Magazine’s recap of the previous year and their recommended reading list. The list is available online, but if you want to read the essays and reviews by the folks that chose the list, you have to go to the print edition. The list includes science fiction and fantasy novels, first novels, YA, and anthologies, as well as short stories, novellas and novelettes (and yes, there is a difference). It’s long enough to keep you busy until next year’s list.
