With a conclusion to the writers strike imminent, Variety speculates on what we can expect from the major networks. With no a whole lot of time to prep, it looks like a much more whittled down pilot season. Some new genre shows that will be pushed are Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse,l J.J. Abrams much touted Fringe, the Knight Rider revival and even a US version of the ITV series Eleventh Hour, which originally starred Patrick Stewart.
