It wouldn’t be SF/F awards season if there wasn’t a controversy. Right now it’s about SFWA’s (it’s always a SFWA drama it seems), Nebula Awards and the way they deal with anthologies. Dave Truesdale has an article on this in Fantasy and Science Fiction subtitled “Why I Like the Hugos.” Of course, there will surely be another Hugo controversy soon, the only thing up for speculation is whether it’s a rerun of last year’s concern over a lack of female nominees. .
