Republic has a cool article on Lost, although be aware, there are SPOILERS contained in it. Still, the article does a pretty good job of conveying some of the overall themes of Lost. References to “white rabbits” and “looking glass” show it’s roots in classics like
Alice in Wonderland, with a little bit of the Wizard of Oz and a touch of Lord of the Flies. Will this article explain the secrets of Lost? Absolutely not! But it’s still enjoyable.
