Dreamwatch has a cool interview with Philip Glenister who plays Gene Hunt on Life on Mars and its new spin off series Ashes to Ashes. Haven’t yet seen any of the new series but caught some of the previews for it on youtube and it looks brilliant. Hunt’s line in the preview about “anything you say will be taken down… ripped up and shoved down your scrawny little throat until you choke” is just classic, and squashed any fears I had that the character might have become more politically correct by bringing him into the 1980’s.
