While it’s not surprise that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was the hardcover SF/F bestseller of 2007 (no one else had a chance), the top spot in trade paperback went to Cormac McCarthy’s The Road, which wound up with a much broader audience than just the SF/F community, in part thanks to Oprah Winfrey’s enthusiasm. Top mass-market paperback sales went to The Bridge to Terebithia. Thanks to Locus Magazine for the info.
