The phenomena of wizard rock and charity efforts arising from Harry Potter fandom have now come together in the 2008 Wizard Rock EP of the Month Club. For $60 for the year, members will receive 12 Wizard Rock CDs from bands like Harry and the Potters, The Whomping Willows, and The Hermione Crookshanks Experience. The proceeds will benefit First Book (the goal is to raise $26,000 — double last year’s amount) and the Harry Potter Alliance. .
