A new award for sci-fi and fantasy literature as been established. The Shirley Jackson Awards will “honor achievement in the literature of psychological suspense, horror, and the dark fantastic.” The first awards will be given out for material published in 2007. The judges are F. Brett Cox, John Langan, Sarah Langan and Paul G. Tremblay.
