For all you Rob Thomas fans, ABC is in talks with Rob Thomas to revive his cancelled 1998 series, Cupid, about a man who’s been sent back to Earth by Zeus in order to bring 100 couples together. I never actually saw the original series, but I’m curious to know what becomes of it. Sounds like Thomas has been given the unique opportunity of improving upon his cancelled series. And maybe in ten years or so, we’ll see a revived Veronica Mars! If you can’t wait that long, it sounds like the proposed DC Comics Veronica Mars plan is still a strong possibility, although apparently with the writers strike the WGA is not wanting their writers to write comic book series based on a network property. I have to admit, I’m a little surprised at that, since it doesn’t sounds like there’s been much problem with the Buffy and Angel comics, but at least it looks like there is a future for Veronica Mars.
