I can’t believe I’m saying this, being not exactly the type of gal to read Popular Mechanics but popularmechanics.com has a very entertaining article on the new KITT car, including a breakdown comparison of the old series car with the new KITT. For even casual viewers of Knight Rider it makes for some interesting reading. Although, seriously, 24 hour roadside assistance? Really? You’d think with everything that KITT can do, you wouldn’t need the 24 hour roadside assistance.

Even though I’m hung up on the original series, I think this sequel has got the “it” factor to become a Tv hit equally or better than the first. The new kitt is astonishing, even though I can’t wait to see the old and new kitt ride side by side for an episode or two(Hey, I am a sentimental GM guy). The 3000 needs a bit of spunk, maybe a personality algorithym added to it’s many programs. I miss William Daniel’s voice, nasal and all, But Val is dark and befitting a more honest and modern rendition of the classic. Great work on everyone’s behalf. Cross your fingers!!
