According to CNN and The New York Times, Heath Ledger, star of the upcoming The Dark Knight, has been found dead in his New York City apartment; pills were found at the scene and suicide or an accidental overdose is suspected. The Dark Knight is currently in post-production, but as this news is just breaking, there is no word yet on how this awful turn of events may effect the film or its release date. Ledger was 28.
