The latest Harry Potter rumor (in a fandom we’re running out of subjects to have rumors about) is that Deathly Hallows, the final Harry Potter film, will in fact be a two part film, possibly directed by Steven Spielberg. While Spielberg has often been a part of HP rumors, so much so this one is easy to ignore, the two-part film is a real possibility as Warner Brothers faces this cash cow coming to a close and fans who have been complaining about the brevity of the films since the first. Some, however, argue that all you need to do to make Deathly Hallows fit in the length of one film is edit out all that endless stuff with Harry, Hermione and Ron wandering around lost. On the other hand, they may need those extra two hours to get them out of all the strange plot changes they’ve made over the first six films.
