Hollywood Reporter states that the Director Guild of America has come to an agreement with the AMPTP regarding residual, having finally come to an agreement of future payments based on distributor’s gross figures. Could this groundbreaking agreement pave the way to an end to the WGA strike? While I’m as eager for a return to our regularly scheduled programming as anyone (Joss Whedon’s Dollhouse, anyone?), at the same time lets hope the WGA aren’t forced to agree to less desirable terms because of it.
