The latest in the Cloverfield craziness is the “news” footage showing the Cloverfield Monster destroying an oil rig. If you’ve been following this stuff you know that the rig is owned by an evil corporation yada yada yada. The campaign is starting to drag on, but I do like that all this extra “stuff” is building a neat little mythos for the movie that might not be able to be explained on screen. This footage is the English version of the news cast!

Iwatched all the videos on this link and saw somthing interesting at the end the Italian segement. There was a sort of Logo for TIDO WAVE that said “Bleeding our Planet dry since 1945″ I don’t know what it means, but it could have something to do with August 6th 1945 when the United States dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. I must admit Clovewrfiels marketing or lack there of is very clever indeed. Keep everyone guessing till the day the movie comes out. Who knows.
