A few issues ago, SciFiNow did their Top Ten sci-fi TV Heroes list which you can now find on their website. It’s a pretty cool list. I’d have to agree with most of the people on there, including James T. Kirk taking the top spot, but Jean-Luc Picard only at number 7? Really? Kirk obviously saved the universe a lot, that’s why he’s at number one. But surely so did Picard. At least have them share the top spot! I mean, seriously, putting him behind Dr. Sam Beckett? Sure Sam Beckett changed a lot of lives, but Picard saved the universe! Many times! And as much as I love Malcolm Reynolds (he’s probably my personal favorite from the list), I’m sure Mal would agree that he probably shouldn’t be number 2 on a top ten list of heroes. I mean, Adama is busy trying to save the last of the human race!
