Hot, sexy, dirty sci-fi porn. The question isn’t “Why make it”, the question is “Why don’t people make it more often”. It’s a well known geek fetish for (lucky) girlfriends to be asked to suit up the old metal bikini, so it seems odd to me that in a shared culture that glamorizes sexuality there exists a kind of “geek closet” when it comes to sci-fi sexiness. Hentai, the dirtiest word in the fandom language, represents a huge market share for anime producers yet live-action English-speaking cross-over barely exists at all. If you do a google search on sci-fi porn I’m going to guess this article will pop up near the top (and as I type it’s not even published yet). The reason I can be so sure is because nothing else has titled itself with the all-to-obvious seeming keyword “sci-fi porn”. Is it that science fiction lovers are of a more mature makeup… a stiffer moral fortitude… a steadfast resolve that pushes against the sexist industries of Van Nuys, California? I doubt it. Although I have encountered a lot of fanboys that will swear right and left that they would never sully the feminine gender by ogling any woman’s image that doesn’t have the modest covering a skin-tight latex suit. I think there are two factors at work, 1. porn producers make product for a mass audience, and sometimes I wonder if true sci-fi fans are in fact a larger segment of the population than foot fetishists (I like to hold out hope that we are) and 2. porn producers that DO venture in to the unexplored reaches of space have no idea what to do once they get there. I think I can speak for a vast majority of fans when I say that painting a porn star in blue glitter body-paint and pasting pipe cleaners to her head is not my idea of a sensual fantasy. The video, although obviously the most hardcore of hardcore, did an amazing job on Daleks! I remember a few years ago when Chris Judge and Michael Shanks started the “Women of Sci-Fi Calendar” much to the horrified screams of a mostly male audience. I want to see some good comments on this one. Guys, girls, anyone, let’s hear about your thoughts on sci-fi porn.

I’ve seen a site called Sexy Trek. I have no shame… it was kinda hot. But in general I think that it’s difficult to make something sci-fi and sexy.

Hey, I’m eagerly awaiting the day when porn exploits sci fi - I mean look at the possibilities - sexy alien slave with mouth where the vagina is and beer, whiskey or whatever drink required dispensed from her breasts? how about a sex robot like the Terminatrix from T3?
And if we expand it to the realm of fantasy then… would having sex with a centauress count as bestiality? mermaids? seductive evil snake girls?
invisible man copulating with regular girls - what an opportunity for PoVs!
Maybe start with filming that Milo Manara comic or drawing from Boris Vallejo’s paintings

As a woman in fandom, I have to say it’s out there, it’s just not visual porn by and large. NC_17 fanfiction probably isn’t the dominant (*snerk*) content in any fandom, but it sure can seem that way. Wait, maybe those are just the parts of the Internet I hang out on….

sorry to tag this comment on at the end, it looks like poeple stopped commenting in december but i just wanted to say i really love the idea of sci fi porn. I just have one problem with it’s reality - while the girls in these illustrious orgasm-inducing productions are absolutely beautiful, the “male” specimens are as about as attractive mating partners as a life size figurine made out of rotting blue cheese. They might just be in some cases come to think of it. Not very appetizing having to watch your sexual partner gloop off in places. Lets have some attractive humanoid characters saving the girls from sex with the ugos maybe? Vampires are good.
