If there’s one thing comic fans love about “Heroes,” it’s knowing that the paintings featured throughout season one were drawn by Tim Sale, a frequent collaborator with the show’s Co-Executive Producer, Jeph Loeb. The two are responsible for such instant comic book classics as “Batman: The Long Halloween,” “Spider-Man: Blue,” and “Superman for All Seasons” to name a few. That said, if you’ve got a little extra scratch lying around, you could become the proud owner of one (or all if you’re loaded) of three of Sale’s paintings used to foreshadow events in the first season. NBC is offering the paintings along with tons of props and costumes from their top shows. A portion of the profits will go to benefit United Way and some other partner organizations.
