For NYC-area Harry Potter fans, it’s time to start getting ready for Evil Day, a celebration of all things Slytherin on December 8, 2007. The event, hosted by The Group That Shall Not Be Named, features a concert by wizard rockers, Draco and the Malfoys, a full dinner, and a raffle including prizes from The Noble Collection and my book, The Book of Harry Potter Trifles, Trivias and Particularities, vol. 1. Cosplayers take note, costumes are encouraged, and I know for a fact that many of those attending have been planning theirs for some time. This evening of mayhem costs $35 and is a welcome break from more typical holiday cheer.
