The head Who office has confirmed that Billie’s Rose Tyler will be returning to the series for mid-season stint, although details are scarce. This marks the third returning companion after Martha Jones (if you consider The Runaway Bride to be a “companion”).

I was so hoping that when Rose Tyler looked into the time vortex it made her a timelord of some kind and that would allow her to come back to the doctor or have the doctor somehow find a way to undo her being lost. I love that he admits he needs a mate but I am sure as all views hope that Rose and the Doctor will do what Sarah Jane and the Doctor never did do. I was so disappointed with the recent flick “The Source” about the Highlander. Years of watching just to be let down. I hope that does not happen with Doctor Who. I have been watching Doctor who much longer and I am sad I can no longer see it here in the US… just when it was getting good! Yeah for Billie Piper’s return. MAKE IT GOOD BBC!!!

rose will always be my favourite sidekick, not just because i think she and the doctor are in love. cant wait to see what happens, just hoping it doesnt end as sadly as last time. happy ending FTW :]
