Do we read message boards? Sometimes… maybe… when we have the time. Okay, we’re curious what people are saying and we’ve been watching you like ninjas cloaked in shadow. I can’t lie about that. We’re really happy that we’ve gotten 99% positive feedback from the web community! There were a few people who’ve posed the question to other forum goers about if we’re eventually going to sell-out and start adding more mainstream stuff while scaling scale down our classics / hard sci-fi. Well, personal feelings aside we don’t really think any sci-fi show has ever actually been awful. This isn’t because we personally like or dislike something, but because someone out there will always like a show or movie that you don’t. That means that there’s always a valid argument for something being good. That said, we plan on always adding shows that are diverse and we hope that in the future we’re going to be bringing you original series that will be just as enjoyable. All of us are sci-fi fans. In the company we have people who are crazy for things ranging from anime, comic books, Star Wars, Star Trek and hard science fiction to fantasy and Firefly. Some of us like the prequel trilogy, others hate it. Some of us like magical girl stuff, others hate that… so within our organization you’ve got a wide spectrum of interests. That’s what’s cool about us. We can all agree that we’re under the umbrella of science fiction / fantasy and that we’re only going to program things that people in the company want to watch. We gauge our programming by how interesting we think it is, not by a focus group. Our employees and managers are the best focus group we can ever hope for. Can we promise we’re never going to put on a show that you hate? No. But we can promise that since we’re VOD you never have to watch something you don’t like to wait for something you do. That’s got to be a plus.
