“Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles” is getting moved from a Sunday night time slot to Monday nights before “24″ starting January 14, 2008. Fox decided against airing the show, which stars Lena Headey as Sarah Connor and Thomas Dekker as John, on Sunday nights with the animation block of “Simpsons” and “Family Guy.” Call me crazy, but it sounds like Fox is using some sound logic here. The people who watch the Sunday animation shows are willing to go out of their way to watch a show, but putting “Sarah Connor” in front of “24″ means that they have the potential to hook people who would not have had an inclination to watch the show anyway. Branding it with “Terminator” is an even smarter move because sixteen years have passed since the release of “T2: Judgment Day,” which was the last time a mass audience saw Sarah Connor on screen. I really want to see this show succeed, otherwise we’re going to be seeing “Bring back ‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’” petitions all over the Internet for the next few years.
