5. Cleopatra 2525: More mid-90s drek, this time marrying Xena-esque warrior women with the rancin taste of Knight Rider 2010.
4. Space Cases: I dare you to sit through an entire episode of Space Cases. Imagine the least funny Good Burger sketch and stretch it out to a full-length show, then add some awful CG.
3. Birds of Prey: Being based on one of DC’s most popular titles, what could have gone wrong? Well trying to recreate “No Man’s Land” and making Huntress a super-powered version of herself are two places to start.
2. Justic League of America: See a trend? This adaptation was just wrong in so many ways. From the VERY bad special effects to the painfully uncomfortable scene where Flash explains that he lost his job and has no where to live, only to be recieved by some hardy “good luck with that” posture from the rest of the league, this pilot actually makes me glad that it didn’t go anywhere. It preserves my sense of faith in humanity knowing that test audiences weren’t impressed by this odd little piece of TV history.
1. Homeboys in Space: Could there be a more insulting show? It was ridiculously racist, the special effects were awful and the jokes weren’t very funny. At least Space Cases could hide behind the “It’s for kids” thing, but this show was on primetime network television. This was honestly supposed to be enjoyable for children AND adults.
