I was so happy to come across Stereolab’s “Miss Modulator” on youtube! It’s one of my favorite tracks from their ‘97 album. It conjures a strange industrial / mechanical feel that I can only equate to a modern update of a Raymond Scott track (maybe something like powerhouse)

It lives in the future and the past at the same time, kind of like 2001, and I dig it.
